Hi, Let me introduce ourselves:
My name is Marijke and I'm a part-time vet-assistant. My greatest passion is longhair dachsies. For more then 30 years we have been enjoying this breed. Every once in a while we breed a litter.
All our dogs (at this moment: 8 dachsies & a collie) live in our house, they are members of the family and (because of that) they are very social and have great personalities. We breed with Excellent dogs, who have been tested on PRA/Cataract. Our pups are bred according to the rules and values set by the Dutch Dachshund Club ('Nederlandse Teckelclub'). We are focused on to produce healthy temperamentfull pups who are closely as possible confirm to the written breed-standard.
The responsibility of Decibels of course does not end when the pups move to their new owners. We are always willing and ready to give our advice and help. On this site you can find information about showing, breeding, care and health, etc. Feel free to look around and let me know what you thought of it.
